I took a nice average doe last night, now the pressure is off. My freezer was without venison, and my wife was putting a little pressure on me about having to buy beef( we havn't bought beef in 4yrs). Now I can hunt seriously for the big buck to put on the wall with my others. My wife did make the suggestion that I buy another doe tag to put more deer in the freezer, I asked if she didn't believe in my ability or if she was just hedging her bets. She said that two does in the freezer are better than a buck in the woods. Come on rut!
