Roof

Okay we are putting together our plans for our fish house that we are making and are wondering what we should have for a slope?? Not being the math and angle figuring type.. This is what we are wondering:

It will be a angled roof not a peak.. We are thinking a 75" run with a 6" rise.. Will this be enough slope for snow and stuff to melt off??

Thanks

I'm building a small skid house right now and had my friend put a 1-piece rubber roof on it.

He's a commercial roofer by trade and he said they slope theirs 1/4" for every 4 feet of run.

Mine's 4x8 and I went 1 1/2" over 4 feet and he said that was overkill.

According to him you'd only need a smidge over 3/8"-1/2".

So, yeah...6" is plenty.

But this is my first build so I have zero experience.
