ND whitetail rut

Whats it like in ND? Are there bucks chasing does through fields in the middle of the day? Similar to MN (the rut is the rut)?

The rut is no differnet in ND as it is in Minnesota. In the past 17 years of hunting in North Dakota, I have found that the prime time rut when the bucks are really running is about 1 week to 10 days into the rifle season.

The opening weekend for rifle has always been just getting started but a week later, things seem to be going pretty good.
