Good taxidermist

Recommended Posts

Hi new to site this is actually my first post. I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a good taxidermist? I shot a beautiful drake buffelhead this weekend that I would like to get stuffed. Also biggest rooster I've ever seen spurs must be 1"1/4. Would like a guy that is good with birds I've heard that some kind of specialize. Any info would be appreciated thanx DIESELDAN

Mid America Taxidermists is my first and only spot to go. With experience in all kinds of animals from around the world you know that Brad the owner knows what animals personality in real life and bring them out in a mounted state, He is located in Savage Minnesota. He has a show room for people to look at his work. He also will have many stories to give you from his hunts around the world. Great guy to deal with #1 in the state in my mind.

DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE I WOULD TRY WHITE BEAR TAXIDERMIST IN WHITE BEAR LAKE, HIM AND HIS WIFE DO A GREAT JOB. I'VE HAD MY SONS 3 CURL MALLARDS AND MY DEER HEAD DONE THERE 6-7 YEARS AGO AND THEY STILL LOOK GREAT. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT FISH BUT I WOULD GUESS THEY WILL TURN OUT GREAT TO.

Northstar taxidermy near St peter does a fantastic job, trust me on this between the bro and I we have 13 mounts all from this guy one mount is 12 years old and it looks just a good as the mount I had done last fall. he has won numerous awards with big game and birds too. check out his web site. If you know anything about seaqrching you will find it pretty easily...
