Bait.

Usually I'll order bait online from either Vados or Ja-Da bait. Jada seemed to be better priced, but didn't have the colored spikes like Vados does. Both of them had good fresh bait. I'm looking for a bait supplier that would have wax worms, colored spikes, and some type of dead bait to use on tip ups for Pike. Anyone know of a bait supplier like this?

I know Byerly's and Lund's supermarkets here in the Cities carry frozen smelt.

Probally not much help but alot of bait stores in norhern mn around Lake of the woods carry frozen bait. I could find names if your interested.

If you wouldn't mind. I just want some frozen smelt or dead bait for Pike that I can keep at home for the trips that I don't go to a bait shop before fishing.

Go to your local bait store now. Buy a whole mess of sucker minnows. Grab some garlic salt and slowly add the salt to the water. After the minnows dies pour more salt on the them, ziplock baggie and freeze. Or you could prolly just go to the bait store and ask them for their dead minnows. They just toss them anyways.

Found a bait store over at the Iowa Great Lakes that had some nice frozen bait. Thought He was very reasonable, $1 for a dozen frozen chubs.
