What is the difference between premium ultra shock and the blue box? Is there a benefit to buying the premium over the regular?

broken line has it right, better shell for your buck. I did manage to drop lots of ducks at long range with the #4 speed-shock in the blue box this weekend. I think they are both good loads.

What makes them better other than the box says so. Better powder, wads or what?

PERFECTLY round shot = denser patterns, more powder = more kick to you and the duck, reliable primer = no swear words and high brass keeps them from jamming.. HIMO they are the best $16 you will spend on water fowling..

The premium shotshells also use heavier oz shot in them = more dense patterns and down range energy. More expensive yes... but shoot either shell within their limits and you'll fold ducks and geese all day.
