Big Buck Buster
Has anyone tried to film there own hunt by using a bow mounted camera. I have seen many different kinds of mounts. Anything from using the stabilizer hole, to a mount that uses a clamp. I would think that the stabilizer hole one would be the best option, being able to mount the stabilizer, and the camera. I have a very compact camera, so weight added to the bow would be at a minimum.Any thoughts on these?

Big Buck Buster
you can check some vids out on Y tube I did just that after posting this. I scrapped the idea of the bow mounted cam. Too much movement when making the shot, and then trying to pick up the location of the deer once shot.I am going to toy with the idea of a head mounted cam. WaitForIt
One big problem with head mounted cams: Autofocus. You really want to get comfortable w/ manual focus when filming your hunts. You can see on the youtube videos when autofocus is used and it really takes the quality down a notch. The camera is constantly hunting around, focusing on the far tree, then the deer, then a little branch 10' from your stand, etc.

I will have to take that into consideration when I am filming.
