Ripley Youth hunt

My son got drawn for the Ripley Youth Hunt. He has to hunt north of Casino Road. I have always hunted south of Casino. I would like to get him in an area that isn't too thick so he can at least see a few deer, if not get a chance. We get to scout a bit the day before the hunt. I'm looking for suggestions of areas to scout so we can find a decent place to set up.

Thanks.

I brought a youth out about 5 years ago for that hunt the farthe north we got the more people we ran into we had are best luck if you go through the last check point first left you can make on the main dirt road and the the first area you can pull off of it seamed like every one was trying to get as far away from the check point as they could wich left us a big empty area to hunt,on a side note they put a very good hunt on for the youth and you guy will have a blast bring some target arrows they set up a big practice range so you can fill the down time by honeing your skills
