in the market for a leaf blower. had a sears, wont do that again, any ideas? dont shop wallyworld either. what brands are best all around and best bang for my buck. gas operated.

I would recommend a Stihl.

I have had a Stihl BG 65 for 4 years now, done nothing but keep clean gas in it, and it runs better today than the day I got it. (It's broke in now)

I have a couple of neighbors with the BG 55, I believe the only difference is a slightly smaller engine, and also no problems in 4-5 years.

Another vote for the Echo. And not the ones from the orange big box store. They are different. Go to an authorized dealer.

I have the PB-620. It is a little much for around the house, but I also use it at the lake home. I don't rake anymore...
