many bucks few does?

know of a place where I have been seeing up to 20 bucks and only 1 doe what gives? They are mostly smaller spikes 4s and 6s. I am not complaining at all but I am wondering who is having all these bucks ha ha. maybe they are does with horns....

Bucks tend to run together in bachelor groups till the velvet starts coming off. Chances are in just a short time most of those bucks will be dispersed into different areas. None of them will probably travel far though so don't get discouraged if they're not all there come opening day.

One spot I hunt is similar. Summertime when bucks are in bachelor groups they are all over my place. Theres natural springs all over and lots of high protein foods. Once fall comes, they disperse and its not as noticable. That and there just ISNT many does anymore where I am.

Hunt early, get when the gettins' good, without does I wouldnt count on them sticking around forever.

It's their pre-rut bachelor party...guys getting together, checking which doe is the best available...typical guy talk. Maybe finding some wild berries that are over ripe, just like having a brandy or two.

Where is the best spot to hang out to get that doe, you know. What else can they do until the time comes?

yes its that kind of spot so im wondering if the unlimited does have been getting whacked.... Calling and scents would probably work great in this area considering 20 to 40 bucks will be trying to find a few does.... might be fun watching them come in on calls. exciting

Might be exciting for 1 year but what the dnr did has really hurt us for years to come.
