Tree stands on WMA's

I just moved down to the cities and will be hunting WMA's this year. Does anyone know if you have to remove your stand after each night of hunting. I know that's how it was 6 years ago when I hunted down here, but I thought it was going to change.

Yes, they have to be removed daily. It's actually a statewide regulation in that you can't leave a stand on any WMA. The only exception is a new law related to bear hunting and they have to be down by the start of archey deer season.

Lou, how about state land just labeled "State Forest"? I am ssuming they need to be taken down each day too, but your sentance about WMA has me wondering. Thanks. This is just a 40 acre plot near my cabin, that I might bow hunt some day. Thanks.
