hoggs222
I have a new a/c unit installed and it's just not getting to the temps it should be inside. Checked the in/out temp outside and at the A-Coil. The outside pipes are cold and sweating like crazy.Would it help to put armor flex on the pipe? I'm guessing we're losing a lot of cold air, just in the pipe.
jeffreyd
Mine are wrapped from the condenser to the house. You are loosing some of the cooling as it scrubs off on the bare lines. I would wrap it if nothing else for protection but it should help with the loss.
beaver11
both your lines should'nt be condensating.just your suction line(the big one)the little one (liquid line) should be warm to the touch. check your filter make sure thats clean.could be low on freon or undersized for your house also.
