Tonka Surprise!

Recommended Posts

Was on Brown's Bay this afternoon with clients pulling blades for Walleyes. My client hooks a fish (probably a Bluegill or small Bass) and half way back to the boat a Musky smacks it! Now this isn't unusual in itself and probably happens a dozen times each season. But in this case by some miracle the hooks transfer and it was fish on!

Ten minutes and 3 tail walks later she was at the side of the boat. She went 51" x 21", The largest I've ever boated in 16 years of guiding. Sorry no pics but she swam away a little tired but otherwise fat and healthy. So she's still out there boys!
