Camping around Morson

I'm in Construction and too stretched to afford my yearly fly-in but I have to make it Canada or I won't make it through the winter. Does any one have recommendations for campsites, either public or at resorts near Morson?

Try Red Wing Lodge 807-488-5601 for camping or as a resort or New Moon Lodge 807-488-5813. They will pick you up in Morson and take you to their island by boat extremely nice folks.

Mylie's place has camp sites for rent. Not real "Woodsy" as is the case with most resort campsites but the docks are great and you have good access to the lake.

You could get a permit for around $10(?) and camp on islands on the lake. Otherwise, I think Mylies, Buena Vista and Sportsman's Harbor have camping.

The crown land permits are $10 per person, per day, so can get kind of pricey.

If you are talking camper or RV Buena Vista also has some spaces I think...

If you are looking for a more remote experience try the Assabaska Park between Bergland and Morson. There are some nice sites right near the lake. Parts of the park are in good shape, others are pretty run down. They do have two boat landings that are useable. Not sure what their fees are.
