can i fix a broken rod?

is there a way to fix a broken rod tip that broke in half between the 2 eyes?? i know i could get a new tip but then the rod would be to short...

just cut the broken piece down to the next eye. if you had a medium light rod, its now a medium.

thats what i do when i brake the very tip of my rod

Yep, that's about all you can do.

i took a piece of a mechanical pencill and fit it over the 2 broken ends, some super glue.. well see how it holds up tonight on some big kittys...

I just put a new tip on where ever it broke off. depending on the legth of the rod and the amount that broke off it may get a little stiff. Also depending on what brand/quality of the rod you may have a warrenty on it and can get a new one.
