Lowrance 332c 1.6 or 1.7 update

If I remember right the version 1.7 was buggy. I had to downgrade to 1.6 to get rid of my problems reading depth in weeds and shallow water. I'll have to check to see if I still have the older versions but you can call lowrance customer dis-service and they will email them to you.

What about version 1.9 on their site? Is that one bad too?

Does the 332c have a shallow water setting in the sonar functions. My 112c will actually read fish in 5ft on URL while running in the shallow water mode.

No shallow water mode on the 332c, that came about in the following generation of LMS / LCX units.
