12v socket

What would it take to install a 12 V socket on my 07 Rancher?

I put one on my 91 Moto 4. I mounted in a convenient location, hooked a ground to the frame, ran a wire to the battery and fused it, and behold , power.

I thought they already have one, or are you talking about an extra one in addition to the one it has?

Well mine doesn't have one! unless I'm missing something. But I really seriously doubt it! I don't remember what model I have I know it's an 07 420 EFI with electric shift. The camo colored one?!?!?

Nope you are right! I did some checking and found that they didnt put one on starting in 07. Bad decision I think, but even so its a pretty easy thing to add yourself.
