bd477
Quote: Guide Confident Of Pawlenty Landing Fish WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (AP) ― Gov. Tim Pawlenty's guide says he's confident he'll help Pawlenty land a fish during this weekend's Governor's Fishing Opener. Dennis Merry of Hugo will take Pawlenty and his wife, Mary Pawlenty, out on White Bear Lake at 3:30 a.m. Saturday. Merry says the early start should help Pawlenty land a walleye on the "really clear" lake. He says White Bear Lake is known as a "night-bite lake." Merry, 33, says he fishes White Bear Lake four to five times a week, both in summer and winter. Pawlenty has a string of catching at least one fish at each Governor's Fishing Opener. It's the first time in the 61-year history of the Governor's Fishing Opener that the event has been held on a metro lake. http://wcco.com/local/pawlenty.fishing.opener.2.1004546.html I bet the first fish is caught by his wife again. niterydr
I miss hearing the stories of Arnie Carlson up near Ottertail, MN my uncle would tell me (he use to guide for the camera boats, they usually caught more fish, haha).
