muddflap64
All's he asked for Christmas was a fishing trip with a guide. he is currently working in minnesota, around the marshall area. but traveling a couple hours whichever way is not a problem. he has never been ice-fishing & i thought this would be a great time to try it. the thing is, i don't know enough about the area or ice fishing to make this a great xmas present. we would like to do this around new years or we could mid to late january. any information would be greatly appreciated. thanks

muc33
Less than half an hour from Marshall there is a Fishing Minnesota Get Together Scheduled for January 3rd!!!!!! Lake Sarah about a 20 minute drive from Marshall. You tell him to show up and he will have the fun of meeting 30 plus people and I guarantee he will get to sit in a shack with someone and try to catch fish! Go to the SW Mn forum for full details!!!!!!!

Sandmannd
There ya go, didn't even think of that. I'm sure plenty will have some extra gear for him to use and he just has to drive there. Get togethers are a great way to get out and experience a new activity.
hhguide
If not one of those, which are a good experience. I would look into maybe getting a sleeper house those are always an experience. Usually you can get the house for a couple days if you want.
