polarsusd81 Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 I iced 3 crappies on a small north metro lake tonight. Found a consistent 4" on the lake I was on. But the lake across the street was still open. Ice thickness varies greatly, so you have to be extremely careful. I used the spud bar all the way out, and only went about 100 yards or so from shore.
