Cooter
At least around here, we've had two league outings of 26 teams and only 3 fish to show. Thinking the switch will go soon!
Cooter
A few reports of nice fish over the weekend, a 50+change, a 46, a 42.....I'll be out thursday night on wissota for league. Prob toss blades and topwater over shallow structure, seems to be the ticket most years this time of year out there.
Cooter
Had one blow up on a plop plop bait near the boat right at primetime, looked like a decent one. That was it for 4 hours of chucking.
Scoot
We got a couple at LOW on opening day this past Saturday- 39 and 43. Didn't see many fish and the few we saw were pretty sluggish besides the two we got. Very small windows of activity surrounded by hours of inactivity- typical for this time of year up there IME. Nick Kuhn
Coot have you been seeing a bunch of dinks? We've caught 4 and every last one was a 2015 stocked fish. Seen a decent number of bigger ones, but also seeing a ton of dinks.
Cooter
On the board with a 40" from the river sunday, slurped a plop plop bait. Nick- havent heard of or seen a surplus of smaller fish around here. Are starting to see a few leech strain showing up from what the club and dnr stocked, 2011 class of those, which were yearlings, are upper 30s to low 40s.
