jmg
Just acquired a different boat and am wondering about the best way to store the 100ft. of new anchor rope I bought to go with the anchor. In the past, I had a Worth Anchormate 2 system, but decided not to do that with this boat, since it has cleats on boths sides of front top deck, along with a bow mounted trolling motor. I thought I read in here once upon a time that someone said to just put it in a pail or bucket, but am open to other ideas. Thanks and all have a great weekend. RebelSS
I made three "cut outs" in the top of a short 5 gal bucket so my river anchor sets down in them. Rope drops into bucket. Easy and works well for me. I've also seen guys use a milk crate, too.
ClownColor
Rope throw/rescue bags...love them! Check them out on Amazon. They'll also come with rope.
Northlander
I use a heavy duty plastic milk crate. Rope dries out well in it.
