Drumming Counts on 4-25-09 Marcel area

Went up 4 wheeling last weekend. Every stop we made, we heard drumming!!!!!!!!!! Going again this weekend, same area.

I've been doing the same thing, it seems everywhere I go I hear drumming!!!! I live east of Waubun about 15 miles, lots of grouse drumming. Good sign!!!!!!

North of Detroit Lakes about 30 miles!!!

Hopefully the weather will cooperate the next 3 weeks and we could have a bumper crop of ruffies on the ground come fall. I know we need the rain, just not right now.

houndheaterguy, I was up at Bigfork the last two weekends....Tons of drumming but never sighted birds. Did see a buck in velvet on last year's food plot and added a couple more plots for the deer and grouse to enjoy for a few months.
