WyoChris
After a great winter break catching a lot of eyes through the ice in MN, i have now been back at Ft Campbell, KY and haven't caught a single walleye since mid-January. I am going through walleye withdrawal. This may be a stretch, but has anyone ever had any experience catching walleyes in Western Tennessee, Western Kentucky, or Southern Illinois. Just wonering if anyone has any good advice. I've tried for saugers a couple times in the tailwaters of Dams.... but no luck. Most guys say the only times you can get them to bite is in January/February.
polarsusd81
If you are looking at Western Kentucky or Tennessee, you should consider just a little farther west in Arkansas and southern Missouri. There are quite a few big reservoirs that are home to some of the biggest walleyes in the world. Fishing them is similar to fishing Devils Lake from what I have been told.
