dewey1980
We will be going to Black Hills and then on to Yellow Stone this summer. If anyone has any info/opinions I would love to hear it. Three familys are going and we all are pulling campers, staying at Custer 2 night then on to Yellow Stone East side and camping there 6 days. paul pachowicz
That route thru the Hills to Yellowstone is pretty popular. There is a ton of attractions in the Custer area. Mt Rushmore & Crazy Horse is just a few miles north on 385 and the roads are well marked to "the faces" from Crazy Horse. Hill City is a quaint little place featuring the 1880 Train ride that is really a nice attraction.
Borch
If you have time a horse ride through the hills is very enjoyable and you get to see some real beautiful of the beaten path sites.

AugieAngler1010
I would definitely stop in Keystone at the Saltwater Taffy shop. Excellent!
