SD Turkey hunting

Well just got done with laundry from my NE trip and packed it back up.Head out tomorrow morning for SD.Hope the weather holds.We can only get one bird this year and a hen but I do not think I will shoot a hen.Can not wait to be back in the woods.

Pick out a bearded hen and put her on the wall. We saw quite a few in NE - a few with some 8" ropes but couldn't get one within bow range. Good luck in SoDak - you're off to a good start.

Hey sticknstring my old man shot one in NE with his bow.Was almost 9.5 inches.That is going on the wall for him.We will see there is an albino hen we have seen the last two years so maybe I can get her.
