PEATMOSS
Bought myself a brand new Camp Chef 3 burner camp stove this winter and have been trying it out lately before the camping season.I bought the grille box and the griddle. These attatchments span 2 burners. I have had great luck cooking with the grill box, but the griddle has been awful. It doesn't seem as though the heat distributes well at all. I would expect it to be slightly hotter over the burners, but holy cajun pancakes!!! Anyone have any experience with these units or have any ideas about how I could modify things to get a more even distribution of heat?
panthrcat
wow I'm surprised to read this post,, we bought a camp chef a few years back, and it's an asset to our camp!! we have the 2 burner one, and I have the griddle, and LOVE it!! yes it takes longer to heat up, but I find the heat to be even on the griddle, and it's superb for making pancakes and eggs! even does a nice job on making toast!!Sue
