putting a floor in my boat.

I don't have photo's on hand right now but I made a removable casting platform for fishing partners that runs the width of the back bench on my boat. When I'm traveling I just put it down on the floor and away we go. You could do something like that in the middle of your boat. I'd avoid trying to stand in the front portion as you might offset the weight a bit too much. I suggest getting the boat out on the water and just trying different casting arrangements to see what works for you and your boat.

This reminds me of a situation I was faced with last year on Mancation. My buddy's cabin way up north has three old aluminum boats. One is a 14' and a couple 12's. We used the 14 and one 12 and on the last day when trying to put them away after use, I kneeled in the front and tried paddling with my push pole/paddle. The back end sat way up out of the water. I should mention there was water in the boat and I didn't want to sit in the middle and get wet. My buddies all laughed and pointed while I struggled, drunk of course and beyond the level that would tell me to just bail the boat out. Rough weekend.

I am a bit intimidated by the craftmanship now.. lol.. If I only had 1/3 of their tallent in building stuff I would be set. Oh well here goes.

Thanks again for all the help and ideas.
