Wisconsin Public Access

Big Hit

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for info on public access to the Kinni, Rush, and other WI trout streams. I've been on the WI DNR HSOforum. Do they have anything like MN DNR maps with public access marked? I've found the stream maps but that's as far as I've gotten. If not, any suggestions? I'd like to get over there and give it a shot at some point this spring. A guy can't fish enough trout streams.

Yea.. i'm not sure how Wisco is set up.. the only stream guide i know of is there normal trout fishing guide.. which just marks all the streams.. i don't know if wisconsin is like minnesota where the DNR pays land owners for easements.. my guess is go out and find entry points now before the bloom

there are easements on the rush, clearly marked with signage along the bank(at least where we fished). I was just out there last weekend and did well for my second week of learning how to cast a fly.
