Eagles in Hutchinson

Hey Everyone,I just wanted to put the work out there that I counted about 40 eagles on the west side of Hutchinson this morning! We have a nest that holds 4 at last count but we never have this many. It was pretty cool to see.

Where are all these eagles coming from? That's a bunch. I heard there were over 2 dozen on Buck Lake the other day and I got a forwarded email claiming they saw at least 100, on a slough just 30 miles from here. This has been an amazing year for bald eagles. So Mike, where are the photos?

I was in the middle of a flooring project so I just popped out for a little walk with the family. They were all too far for pics but it was fun watching and especially listening to them. I could listen to eagle all day!

Duh! But, I still wonder where they are coming from. Their flyway maybe changed. It used to be, if I saw one around here I'd get excited. This has really been cool.

Hey send some of those guys west will ya, I'd drive east but am worried about flooding so I have to stay near my water pumps.
