"Cadillac records" is the show for you. I wont give it all away but the show begins at the start of the creation of the record label and goes through the history of the performers that put it on the map. Hint; blues and the start of rock+roll.

I felt the show was well acted and put together very well.

I love shows like this, they open my eyes to an era that is deserved to be recognised.

All my blues friends would cringe hearing you describe this movie as a history. Watch it for the entertainment, but don't believe the history as it's been very Hollywood influenced.

I did not say it was a documentary I said "If you are into the history of music". I apologize for not being clear.

You are right these shows are not a dictation of history but they do give a glimpse into the past and do give some relevant info that a person may not have none.

Like everything in life take it with a grain of salt goes down better.
