anyone here ever have their slug gun barrel dipped? I was looking at ahlman's HSOforum the other day and they offer a heat cured coating in different colors and I have some spots showing up on my 870 slug barrel. It is a good barrel and I am considering have the coating put on it or maybe getting a new cantelever barrel. I keep hoping I will walk into cabelas and get a great deal on a returned cantelever barrel. (right after those monkeys fly out of my you know what) I am not sure if they use Norrel's Moly resin or what, but just wondering what you have used.

Also, have any of used one of the Mossberg brand cantelever scope mounted barrels on you Rem. 870? Their price is more reasonable than others out there.
