Question for Hemlock

Recommended Posts

I am not sure if the coordinates are correct. I can tell you I saw the lake on the map that shows the big game hunting zones when I was in Rainy River. It is north east of Kenora somewhere around 25-30 miles the way the crow flies from my estimation. There looks to be a gravel road that gets close to it that connects with the highway east of Kenora. I know there is a short portage to the lake.

Go to this site Atlas of Canada. In the lower right you can put in the coordinates and it will show the lake with roads nearby. atlas.nrcan.gc.ca/site/english/maps/topo/map

Least it did today.

Finns coordinates are correct or close. I get an error message on the degrees but from what I can gather from the map it is on the Jones Road Wilderness Area. Do you know the road number to Jones?? This looks like a great place to just throw a boat in and fish for those wanting an adventure.
