Fish house

On a local one of the land owners has a fish house still sitting on the lake next to his skating rank. Aren't they supposed to be of the lake? This is the Twin Cities.

Yep, should be off the lake.

Sandmannd- Its been all month so far door is wide open just to lazy. Gives fisherman a bad name. Like I said a lakeshore owner.

Call the local CO and have him check it out. Could be the guy is using it as a warming house for his skating rink and has already talked to the CO about it. Fish houses aren't necessarily just fish houses now days. They are more multi-use facilities.

Retird-- It hasn't been there til recently. I think thats what he wants people to belive.

charley, was it moved there at the deadline? how far off shore is it? just curious.

I go by the lake alot. I hadn't been by for a couple of days and then its there all of sudden. It has windows and runners for pulling. Its a fishhouse I sure. Maybe 30 foot from shore.

charley, thanks for answering my questions. maybe you should do as retired said and contact the DNR and have them investigate. hopefully your questions will be answered by them. good luck, if you figure anything out please post. just curious

i drove by a lake in your area while working today. i think i know what house your talkin about. is it on the west side of the lake? i drove by kinda fast and wasnt lookin on the lake to much and saw it there. the lake is almost unskateable. it should be off the lake.

Yup i drive the big brown truck and was coming north on the west side up to H2 and saw it right on shore next to the shore.

Iceman16-- Did you also happen to see the plastic chairs on the ice. Right on the corner of H2. They must of had a bonfire. There is burnt wood wiyh the chairs.
