Anyone got a dried morel recipe?

Well I'm lucky and have a friend who dropped off a gallon bag of sun dried morels! Normally if he brings them in fresh I sautee them in butter. I like to top off the venison medallions for a real treat. This is my first experience with dried ones. I soaked a couple handfuls in water for 15 minutes then sauteed them in butter and topped off some steaks. Note to self they really expand!

Anyone else have anything special they do with dried shrooms?

I usually just let them soak for an hour or two and then saute in butter like you mentioned. I also try to save the water that I reconstitute them in. Run it through a cheese cloth and then use it as a base for soup or gravy. Yummy!
