Anyone have a Stoeger 2000 and care to comment on it? Is it like Benelli on a budget or is it a bust?

It appears they are part of the same company with Benelli and Franchi.

Adds I've seen say that they use the same recoil system as the Benelli. Any comments?

It's still the rotating bolt head, inertia system, but the quality of surrounding components really makes a difference. Plus, the Stoeger is a 3" gun, the SBE is a 3.5, so a better comparison would be between the M1 and the Stoeger.
