tundra pull behind

Does anybody have experience with these, I have never owned a camper trailer and I found out a week ago Im a proud owner of the tundra,according to my wife. SHE decided to help out her mother, its a 2005 only used 3 times im told. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

What model? What's your tow vehicle? They're part of the Keystone family so I'd guess they'd pull like most trailers which means pretty good given you're not towing with a spec.

im assuming its the 27ft and i have a 1/2 ton ext 4x4 to pull it with,will that be enough truck?

Check your tow rating for your truck and the loaded weight of your trailer, neither all 1/2 ton trucks nor trailers are created the same. But I would guess you would be OK.

I would think a bigger truck would pull alot easier, depends where your going, ie. up hills and stuff, keep in mind gear ratios to it all makes your trip alot easier. But I would guess you would be fine though.

I will be bringing it back from Helena MT. Her mother said something about the toungue of the trailer doesnt sit on a ball but slides inside the reciever.

That sounds like a 5th wheel. I would seriously have them send you a couple pics or at least the exact model so you can look it up. You may go out prepared to tow back a travel trailer and be sitting there looking at a 5th wheel and those hitches are a bit spendy.

Yep, something strange with that. If it slid into a receiver hitch that would make it rigid and you wouldn't be able to turn. You better get a picture, it's 2009, shouldn't be hard to get something sent before you go.

I was thinking it sounded like a leveling hitch that was left attached to the trailer.

I was assuming it was a regular ball hitch type with stabilizers on the trailer, but im getting more confused by the moment. Gotta love those mother-inlaws.
