I got a new bow about 45 days ago, after about twenty shots the rest came loose. I brought it in and the re set it and put some loc tite on it to keep it in place. Has not moved since. Pain in the rear to drive all the way over to bring it in, but I don't think I could have properly got it back in place.

yes , take it back to the shop. since you are new to bow hunting, have the shop check it over and show you how they set it up , so in the furure you can do it your self. dealing with bows ( adjusting, set up,etc.) is a learning exsperience. the shop should check your rest, nock pt.even your sight. talk to them. ask questions. and remember; the only dumb question is the one you don't ask !!!!! del

I will go with what the above posts said.. take it in for sure and get it checked... If I had to guess as you said its a new bow. There is a break in peroid on bows just like just about anything, it usually takes a good 100 shots or more before the string and cables stop stretching. This stretching WILL take a bow and rest out of tune, causing problems.

Good luck geting your bow back to shooting well! Enjoy the wonderfull sport of archery!
