Thats extreme; nice ride WWG....Aanderud he might be wearing that helmet come bug season. 40+mph on river might be enough to get your daily dose of protein from a mayfly/stonefly hatch.

Are you River Pro and Jet guys using In-hull (a.k.a. shoot-through) transducers?

Or do you just tilt the ducer up when Ice-Burging!

I have one of each. On the River pros there is a trim tab that extends out from the transom 8” or so that is bent down at a 3 degree angle. That is where I have my normal transducer mounted even with the bottom of the boat. I have only knocked it off once (not from ice or……parking on the beach)

My vex is shoot thru and it is my back up.

I tuck mine behind the trim Tab too. I also keep the bolt loose enough so the transducer can kick up if need be.
