which one would you buy and why, I'm leaning towards the tech 29 any info would be appreciated on this topic

My advise would be to find a shop that has both bows and shoot them side by side... Pay special attension to how they feel in your hand at full draw... and the draw cycle its self... Nobody can tell you what bow feels best to you, they can only tell you what feels best to them. I myself bought a Hoyt UltraTec.. and I shot both the matthews and bowtec... Martin Cougar III would have been my second choice...

Yeah that's the problem I'm having, everyone is so one sided that the equipment that they are pushing is the best and everything else sux. I think I'm going with the tech 29 thanks for your info thoe

look at the bowtech patriot, you will be happy.

Id agree with exudedude, shoot them both first. I'd pay particular attention to which grip fits you best. Both are great bows.
