Surplus permit question

I was drawn for the area I want to hunt for season A. I just found out I will be in Wisc that weekend. Can anyone tell me if I can try to buy a surplus for a different season after being drawn?

To answer you question. I don't think you can. I tried to get a surplus this fall and couldn't because I had already drawn.

No. If you were already drawn in the lottery, you would not be eligible for a surplus tag.

I don't think so. Pretty sure the archery option is only for those who don't draw.

Same answer.

He was drawn for the first season and would be committed to hunting that season only, bow or shotgun. You can use a bow for any of the seasons.

If your initial season selection is G or H for archery only, you can purchase the tag over the counter. You can also purchase the archery tag for season G or H if you were unsuccessful in the lottery.

The other option for unsuccessful applicants is to "attempt" to purchase a surplus tag.

The catch is the OP applied for and was selected for the first season. He is now ineligible for any other spring season.
