Sorry, I've been short of time. Thought I had better catch this before it falls off the page. Nice job, Nymph. I like the dingleberries. But that orange hibiscus!!! I googled 'hibiscus image' hoping to find one to use for an art project after seeing this. There are a gazillion photographs, but I didn't find any that got it quite like you did. Normally the petals are clear but the stamen or whatever that is called is blurry. Or they get the center fairly sharp, but the petals look flat and dimensionless. Very few have that dark throat. Your lower petals are starting to move out of the focus area, but it almost adds rather than detracts. It would have been nice to have more of the dark background maybe, but we can't have everything! I really like it.
