RainyEye
I posted a couple of months ago about seeing this Housefinch with the white patch on one side of its head. This morning it finally returned to the feeder and I had my camera ready. I believe it's a form of leucism, but please correct me if I'm wrong! RainyEye
Thanks, I'll give that a try!
Birdsong
Sorry, GClark, I have gotten a bit behind here. This sure looks leucistic to me. He looks like my cardinals. But, I am never sure of the difference between partial albino and leucism. You can check with Cornell University. If you submit your photo they will respond within a few days. I think you submit under 'Diseased and unusual birds.'
RainyEye
Thanks Birdsong, I'm not sure either of the difference. I'll try submitting to Cornell and report back what I find out.
