Just got mine out for the year and when i plugged it in to charge the light just goes back and forth between green and red. According to the manual the light it suppost to be red when charging and green when done. I just bought a new battery for a spare and wanted to top it off. So both the battery in the camera and the new one do the same.

My chrgers doing weird things to. I e mailed Marcum and they are sending me a new one.

Yes the camera works I just i am not sure if the battery is charged or not. I suppose i could stick the battery in my Lx-5 or vs560 and charge it in there to make sure.

I love the charger on my LX-5, maybe I should put one like it on my camera to. Still need a regular Vex charger though for the spare batterys.

Ditto. Mine never went green, just blinked red. I put new terminal clips on a DCS charger with banana clips for charging spares. I've been trying to find a couple more DCS chargers, but they are in short supply this season.

Why don't you just use the charger from your LX5 on the camera battery.its not hard to move.
