Boreal Owl - Park Point

I got a call from a woman who has a Boreal Owl roosting in her backyard near her feeder. So I went down and digiscoped the owl with my Kowa spotting scope. These owls are popping here and there along the north shore and in the residential areas of Duluth. I do not own a SLR camera and hopefully will own one this summer and learn to take better photos.

Thanks for the heads up Mike!....hopefully some will turn up in "The Bog".....just a matter of time ....apparently the boreal owls like the scenic north shore rather than staring at a big swamp as in the "Bog"....
