Planning Big Trip - Where would you go?

Wanted to get some insight on where everyone would recommend going for a trip the weekend of February 13th - February 15th. Have Monday off as well so plan on leaving Friday afternoon and coming home Monday. Just got a new wheelhouse and plan on staying in it for most of the trip. Have been up to Winni the past few years and have done okay each time. We are looking for walleye mostly, but love jumbo perch as well. What are some suggestions for this time of year URL, LOW,etc.

I also have that Mon. off,and I don't work weekends.. Me and two others are going to the Alexandria area.. Two lakes,three days.. Talk to Christopherson's bait, they will fill you in.. That is a good area now into ice out.. I have my 2 lakes picked out..

I would also agree with the alexandria lakes have been getting some nice crappies and walleyes and/or for jumbo perch and walleye ottertail has some great perch in that lake. The problem you are going to have is that trail is limited on the lakes, with main trails and roads but off of that snow is deep around this area. good luck.

I like to head up to URL for a day and night of fishing then on to LOW for 2 days. Makes for a fun time, we have been doing that the last 8 years and look forward to it all year.
