my cuz has a humminbird ice 45, i have been looking for just a fl-8 but after seeing what that hummingbird can do i think i might have to look closer to one of those. are they very reliable??? any coments about this model?

I have used the 35 and 55 and they seem to do all that is promised. I have no idea how long a unit will last as they are new on the market.

With that said, Humminbird has been making sonar type equipment for a long time and the company is time tested. I believe Humminbird will stand behind any product they market.

Like harvey lee said, they are new this year so there's not much of a track record yet. But I've talked to several guys that are using them and are very happy with them so far. People like the big display and all the features that come on the Ice 45.
