Flowage on Opener

Fished the flowage on the opener and seemed to get most of our fish in 3 to 6 fow. Also fished the bogs of course and also tried the river beds. Winward sides of islands in 12 fow seemed to do OK as well. I do know that I need some new fishing partners as mine could be found in the cabin all day Sunday. Let me know if anyone did anything. Oh yeah, we (I) boated 12 fish over the weekend, biggest being a 20" on a jig and fat head.

Sorry- The Chippewa Flowage. Let me know how you did. No crappies yet over the weekend, but we didn't pursue them too much.

I'm headed up there this weekend myself. I called pastikas and they said the bite has been good. Jigs and minnows, slip bobbers, in 5-12 FOW. Wind swepts points, sand flats, rocky points, adjacent to spawning areas.

Look for the warmer water.
