Lunar Tables

I posted about that awhile back, and I've paid very close attention to it this year.

The shortest answer I can give is that it seems to be more of an "enhancement" factor than a primary indicator. If the other factors are positive, a solunar peak definitely seems to turbocharge the bite. If the bite is decidedly negative, the biggest peak in the world won't overcome that.

I use it mostly as a guide for timing my outings if I have only an hour or two to fish.

I swear by them I look at all the majors and minors and evrything. You can pick up a great model and Thorne Bros. I have multiple examples of where I think they have helped but who knows it could be superstition too. But I look at them all the time.

I use them alot also and plan trips / outings around them. I've experienced instances when they were spot on. Also had time that weather card trumped the lunar card. There are many variables that make up a "hot bite", and believe Lunar tables are PART of it, but not the major deciding factor.

I do look at them all the time also. They seem to boost my confidence, give me something (time frame0 to look forward to, and helps me focus on everything I'm doing, esp. during those times.

The only thing I can say for sure regarding walleyes on ice is that the "daytime bite" sems to happen at different times on different days. Whether that's the Moon's influence or weather of the day or something else, I don't know.

A couple weeks ago we had a great morning bite (sunrise - 9am) then a couple days later we didn't catch much until 9:00am, then the walleyes went crazy from 9:00-11 that particular day, which did happen to be closer to the New Moon phase. New Moon means Noon??
