Propane tank question for little buddy heaters.

I've got an old box of the small green propane tanks. Some of the tanks could be as old as 10 years. I'm under the assumption that there is no shelf life on the tanks, but i'd like to get some verification. The tanks show no corrosion around the connection threads.

Due to the nature of the sealed container i cannot believe that the propane would be any less efficient as a newer bottle. Use it up! It's cheaper than $2 a bottle today!

As long as the tanks aren't leaking they should have an indefinite shelf life.

where are $2 tanks? I have been paying close to $4 per 1 lb tank.

I think FF is around $2.50 a bottle.

I would say use them. I believe fleet is closer to three a bottle but right around there. I think you can get a four pack there for just over 10 bucks bringing the price down to almost the $2.50 mark.

The way to go is buy a 4.5 lb tank for 50.00 It last alot longer than the small 1 lb tanks. I think those small tanks burn alot faster or something. I can get many more hours out of the 4.5 lb tank than I can get out of 6 of th 1 lb.

Is any one fishing on Green lake out by princeton? I am going out friday, my buddy tells me There are a ton of houses out there. Any one willing to help me out and point me in the direction of the crappies? I would appreciate it since I may not get out any more this winter. It would be nice to catch some fish for once. Thanks

Go out from the public access, hang a right. Follow the tracks along the shore, there is a steep hill and a point of land that reaches out into the lake. EVERYONE fishes off that point, you wont miss it.

I see you guys were talkin about propane. I'm not your mother, but please take a look- might learn something to keep ya alive.
